Speech Competition

Ngā Manu Kōrero gives Lytton students the opportunity to compete with students from around the community and the country through this unique competition. The skills of public speaking will never go amiss and the ability to address the audience in both Māori and English on a variety of powerful topics both educates and enlightens speakers to a world beyond their classroom and community. Developing oratory skills means students have the confidence to deliver in both our national languages not only providing the grounding to successfully transfer such skills in today’s competitive world but to contribute long into the future.
